Gavin was born on the Isle of Wight, and despite being surrounded by water for much of his earlier life, still can't swim! His early school reports mentioned that he would do far better at his work if he spent a little less time chatting to classmates, so it's good to see he's found a use for all that chatter.
Gavin has a fear of heights, but trys not to let that stop him. He once jumped off a 30 metre high platform with just a wire attached, and his first experience in a plane was in a Cessna light aircraft, where he took the controls of the plane! Gavin is also a big fan of theme parks - and even went on Stealth 3 times in one day at Thorpe Park!

Tell us something we didn't know about you: I'm colour blind, so I can never be a pilot, a fireman or an electrician.
Where did you go to school and were you naughty? I went to school on the Isle of Wight. I then moved to near Reading to study for my HND and never went back!
First job - and would you do it again? My first job was in radio - and I'm still doing it!
While the music's playing, what do you do? Admire myself in a mirror or top up the mug of tea (milky, with two sugars please)
What do you get up to outside of work? When it's sunny I love just sitting outside a pub, eating a meal (I don't have to do the washing up then). I've also just joined the gym and am making sure I make the most of the massive amount of money I pay them every month!
Do you have any embarrassing albums in your collection at home? Yes, I used to do mobile discos, so I've got the albums from Black Lace, Aqua, The Spice Girls etc. They were bought purely for the disco and never get played at home...
Favourite place to eat? Pad Thai in Wokingham, or Frankie & Benny's in Woodley.
Favourite pub? Whetherspoons. Wherever I am in the country, there's always one near by!
Reading's best-kept secret? A parking space near the town centre that's free. Sadly, I've not yet found it.
