Easter Egg Run

Eggs at the ready: The Thames Vale Vultures Motorcycle Owners Group are once again holding their annual Easter Egg run in support of the Variety Club Children's Charity on Friday the 22nd of April 2010 (Good Friday).

If you’ve got a motorbike, trike, scooter, combo, or any other type of motorcycle, then you’re welcome! Just remember to bring a chocolate egg! You don’t have to wear fancy dress, but it might be fun!

There’ll meet at Autodex Auto repairs on Norcot Hill Industrial Estate, from 12.00 to leave at 12.30 and from there head out to Abbey Rugby Club, Peppard Road, Emmer Green. They'll deliver the eggs to children who'll otherwise go without... including kids at The Avenue School.

Of course – as per usual the Easter Bunny will be waiting for the bikes down at the Rugby club!

Once again, Reading 107 is an official collection point for the Berkshire Egg Run. Collectively everyone in Reading donated over 4,300 Easter Eggs last year, let's try and beat that record!

All Easter eggs that are donated are sent to the Variety Club children’s charity, and they distribute the eggs to Schools and Hospices in the Reading area.

So drop your Easter Eggs off at our studios (Radio House, Madejski Stadium) during office hours between now and Thursday the 21st. Thank you so much for donating and for more information about this event check see the Thames Vale Vultures website!
